    ISC Multiply

Done some updates with ISC multiply websites.
N found out that the myanmar society in Singapore polytechnic is very tech savvy. U noe what?
They even have website of their own. Do check it out!!!!!
and the best part is that their super admins has the similar name i had for my hotmail (my x-nick)

received an email, which is quite true
    will post it here bahx....

    ==================The Story==================
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you. But first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple up the $20 bill. He then asked,"Who still wants it?" Still, the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground, and started to grind it on the floor with this shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still want this?" Still the hands went into the air.

My friends, we all learnt a very valuable lesson. NO matter what he did to the money, you still want it because it did not decrease the value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt, by the decisions we made and the circumstances that came our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened, you will never lose your value.

DIRTY OR CLEAN, CRUMPLED OR FINELY CREASED,
YOU ARE STILL PRICELESS TO THOSE WHO DO LOVE YOU.

THE WORTH OF OUR LIVES COMES NOT IN WHAT WE DO OR WHO WE KNOW,
BUT BY WHO WE ARE AND WHOSE WE ARE.

And remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the TITANIC.
    And they were still human

    After camp effect

Bored right here, and feeling like to blog something.
So, today was the end of SPSE one night Camp. I was there helping out as friend. Actually we were dismissed around 12nn, but then I went to Zeeson's house.
Reached there around 1+, they asked me to play DotA. I slept, eventhough it's very hot on the sofa there. Woke up around 7 and found Imelda was there. So, we walked down the Seafood Foodcourt nearby and had dinner with Yun Liang, his bro, Zee, and Imelda. After which we skated around 'void deck', which according to Zee wasn't in the dictionary.
After that, helped out Zeeson with his blog's HTML. So, he's just set up a new blog: http://zeesonteoh.blogspot.com, where he will post all his portfolio there from now on.
Played DotA, which we almost lost, but we turn it over, and yah, here I am, in my bedroom
Surfing some sites, and found some interesting sites:

I think that's all for today, i mean yesterday...
    ^^
Damn tired after the whole night walk the day before...

    Class REP

Class Representatives, in short. Or Class Leader if you want to call it...
It has the same meaning, though...
Dunno what happened with that 'sacred' position.

Starting from year 1, 2 of my former class leader resigned by changing to other class
Resulting me taking the position for the last 2 years.
Now, I'm AGAIN, a CLASS REP...

Dunno I should be happy or sad to hear that.
1 Q I wanted to ask from the beginning is if this position have 3 years contract with SP....
    *SIGH*

The first day and second day of new semester,
I've been 'playing truant' with the 2 days' first lesson
Lucky enough that for this third day, I'm only late for 15 mins...
    ^^

Found out that Marko, my new classmate is living in the same area as I am...

    That's all for now...

    Btw, some adv:

    DO CHECK IT OUT!!!!

I'm gonna go to cook some instant noodle first. Before I die starving..^^

    Murphy's Law

    Taken from : http://people.howstuffworks.com/murphys-law.htm

You're sitting in eight lanes of bumper-to-bumper traffic. You're more than ready to get home, but you notice, to your great dismay, that all of the other lanes seem to be moving. You change lanes. But once you do, the cars in your new lane come to a dead halt. At a standstill, you notice every lane on the highway (including the one you just left) is moving -- except yours.

Welcome to the aggravating world of Murphy's Law. This idiom says that whatever can go wrong will go wrong. And it may just be right. This isn't because of some mysterious power the law possesses. In reality, it's us who give Murphy's Law relevance. When life goes well, little is made of it. After all, we expect that things should work out in our favor. But when things go badly, we look for reasons.

Think about walking. How many times have you reached a destination and thought, "Wow, I walk really well"? But when you trip over a curb and skin your knee, it's a pretty good bet you'll wonder why this had to happen to you

x Etorre's Observation - The other line moves faster.
x Barth's Distinction - There are two types of people in the world: those who divide people into types and those who don't.
x Acton's Law - Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely
X Boob's Law - You always find something in the last place you look.
x Clarke's Third Law - Any sufficiently advanced society is indistinguishable from magic.
x Franklin's Rule - Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he will not be disappointed.
x Issawi's Law of the Path of Progress - A shortcut is the longest distance between two points.
x Mencken's Law - Those who can, do. Those who cannot, teach.
x Patton's Law - A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.

Fatalism is the idea that we're all powerless to the whims of fate. This notion says that the things that happen to us are unavoidable, for example, that skinned knee. It's the idea that there's some kind of universal law at work that takes a certain glee at toying with us

Murphy's Law doesn't prove anything. It doesn't even explain anything. It simply states a maxim: that things will go wrong. But we forget that there are other forces at work when we consider Murphy's Law. Allegedly, It was the author Rudyard Kipling who said that no matter how many times you drop a slice of bread, it always seems to land on the floor butter-side down. Kipling, the author of "The Jungle Book," among others, was making an observation that most of us can relate to: Life is hard, almost to a laughable degree.

But with a buttered slice of bread, you must take into account the fact that one side is heavier than another. This means that on the way to the ground, the heavy side will flip toward the ground thanks to gravity, but it will not flip all the way around back to the top for the same reason. It is, after all, heavier than the side without the butter. So Kipling was right -- a piece of buttered bread will always land butter-side down.

The formula uses a constant equal to one, a factor that is unconstant, and a few variables. In this formula, Pel uses the importance of the event (I), the complexity of the system involved (C), the urgency of the need for the system to work (U) and the frequency thesystem is used (F).

Murphy's Law reminds engineers, computer programmers and scientists of a simple truth: systems fail. In some cases, a system's failure means that the experiment must be repeated. In other cases, the results of a failure can be much more costly.

    tomorrow is exam

yeah, yeah, I know tomorrow is exam. Yet, now, I'm so free to write a blog. Actually, the math lecture notes is open just right next to me....
Hahahaha... Just came back from Batam today. It's tiring, yet it's nice. I've been driver for the last three days. Go here go there, but it has been a while since the last time I play with dogs. Yeap, I'll attach the photo here.^^

Been slacking in Batam, not concerned about Math exam, which is going on tomorrow, 9am. Sigh....
Discrete probability distribution, continuous and those craps... sigh... tired of those.
Wanted to buy a cap this morning, but cancelled it due to time constraint. I'LL BUY IT NEXT TIME...^^

Btw, it's myanmar traditional show just before I went back to Batam. It's successful event, but we lost 3 cables from CMCC. So, I make up a story that we spoil it and going to change it by that week, which was due last friday, the day I left Singapore. Hohoho... Then, CSCC won't join us for Mid-Autumn Festival. Dunno whether it's good or bad news. Next, update for...let me think about what's next....

Think it's time to study. Btw, Ka-Ching by Shania Twain is nice...^^
    OK then, good luck everybody
    8/4/2007

    exams...

sigh... again, long time never update. Just feeling like to type something quite long, so here it goes. although exams is coming, never feeling tensed to review the modules i have taken so far. Furthermore, there was an SMS from Math teacher, which I had ignored for about 3 hours now. Sigh... Found a good HK Drama recently. So, watching it instead of MUGGING for exam. Maybe that's my nature. Hahahaha...
Also found the expansion of Rave, a manga I read in Medan. So, because of all those challange, hardly had time to review. LoL

Maybe I should review as soon as possible, before it's too late. Sigh... Feeling great for the past OOP Lab test. Got 100 but I had failed as a good leader, because I only did the OOP miniproject alone, dragging my other friends to their worst. Another thing is that I felt my laptop getting slower and slower, although I had done some basic disc management. I think it's asking for a change. Another sad news is that the battery of my laptop is reaching it's limit. That makes me down...

Apart from that, I also feel down because I had done almost nothing for logistics post for Myanmar Cultural Night. TT___TT
Feeling bad for the organizer chairperson. Sigh... Not yet met my fellow friends from Secondary for 1 week. Sigh... Really slacking all the time.
Maybe I should change this habit of mine.

Let's see if there's any photos I can upload.

Going to join GYL at the end of this month. hope that I can resist myself from spending money this month. It had been tight recently... Feeling bad for going to karaoke with friends last saturday, because I spent $35 for that and also I drank beer. The allergy came up and last for 1 week. It had yet recovered.... >_<

Maybe I'm going to study after this... hehehe....
    7/20/2007

    Reporting in!!

    Sigh...
Long time never update my blog here... Now, since that I've done most of my works, i have time to update. Furthermore, it's Friday today. It means that I have more time today to update, since that I can sleep until 2pm in the afternoon tomorrow, or maybe 4... Hohoho...
First of all, I feel very great since I've done all my PBIL assignments earlier than usual. I don't know what is going into me, but the old me had re-appear.... Hohoho... Suddenly become so diligent...
    ^^
The PBILs i did, according to the time frames are:
    1. DCS
    2. Math
    3. CA
    4. OOP

That kill most of my time these few weeks. It makes me need to appear busy in my MSN. Another thing is that these few weeks, i had my friends, MSN-ing me and FS-ing me. They are all almost out of contact friend...~~Btw, hope that I can find one girlfriend, soon... Hehehe...

Feel very happy that they can contact me. This means that they still can remember me...^^ Glad to say that...LoL

Another thing, another thing.... This time, it should be the last , but not the least... I had rough estimation of what my final year project would be..... May the goddess of fortune will stay with me, until I graduate from this Singapore Polytechnic, the first polytechnic in Singapore.

This will be the end of my blog... Hope that I can update regularly, since that I had more free time now...^^

Yeap, now, I would like to say....
Sayonara.... Good luck to all my friend who still have to finish their work... Gambatteh... I will be here, helping those who need it...^^

    objective: STUDY HARDD!!!!!

    Taman Negara (ii)

I know that it has been more than 2 days since I came back from Taman Negara. The problem is that I really busy these few days, so that I can only update it now... >_< Really busy week, even when holidays. It really was a nice trip to Taman Negara. First of all, let's start with my first day there...^^

    • Day 1

Reached Taman Negara around 8 in the morning( forgot the exact time ). We straightly went to the camp site. There, we couldn't do the first activity, which should be picking up trash. It's due to very clean environment. There, we had our very first breakfast. After that, we built our tents. It took us around 45 minutes. That's the second time I handled tents. Then, we had some rest, but not a nap, take lunch, and unpacking our things. It's around 3 pm when we started standing by for our next activity. It took us 2 hours, until the very last person to be ready for the journey. May be it's our inertia to go bath... After that, we met up with our guide, which was also a ranger. He's a nice person. Very unlucky that we never asked for his phone number, in case we wanted to go there another time. T_T We had our dinner around 6. After that, the guide did a briefing regarding Night Jungle Walk, which is our next activity. We started our Night Jungle Walk around 7 pm. When briefing, we mentioned about no picture taking, but after some brief discussion with him, we could take pictures, because some of the fauna inside the jungle only come out at night. After that, we reached back our campsite around 10 pm. There, we had our debriefing about the activity we did just before. Then, some of us had supper, and others went asleep.

    • Day 2

Woke up around 6 am, because we counted in the inertia of us going bath. Finished preparing after 9, had our breakfast, and met up with our guide. He did briefing, as usual, about the activity we were going to do. We were going to go to Bukit Terisek. It really had a hard, slippery, and also sloppy. Reached there around 11. We took alot of pictures, because the scenery there was nice. We also had our face and hands drawn with some natural stone, which could be made into coloring liquids. After that, we headed down the hill, to take our lunch, since a lot of people were there. We took a quick bath, to refresh our minds. After that, we continued our journey to Canopy Walk, which was claimed to be the longest canopy in the world. I didn't know if it's true. There, we learnt how to use compass, in a proper way. We also learnt how to not only reading map, but also interpret it, correctly. Ended the activity around 5pm. Then, we moved back to our campsite. As usual, we had our debriefing before dinner. Had my very first and also the only guard duty.

    • Day 3

Also woke up around 6. Finished washing up around 8.30, which was half an hour improvement. Maybe the menu yesterday was just nice. As usual, met our guide and did briefing. Then, we headed to Ear Cave. It was really a very tough job to get inside and see the fauna inside. There was no flora inside it. It really was a small, but long cave, but not too long. Out of the cave at around 12. Had our lunch around the area, because we had our foods brought there. Then, we took boat to reach Orang Asli village. There, we were taught how Orang Asli survive despite they were being isolated. And we found out that they were not completely isolated, they also had Ringgit to use. There, we were taught how they did hunting. It really was fun. Nothing much there. Then, we headed back to our campsite around 3. Unlucky, it was raining that time. We had our dinner around 7. Then, we made campfire because it's our last day there. We had barbeque chicken and some other food. After dinner, we went around campfire. It really was warm near campfire. We sang lots of campsong, and also games. We also had our emo-talk, since it was our last day there. Went to sleep around 12.

    • Day 4

Woke up around 5 and start packing our thing after bath. Finished all those things around 6. Then, we packed the camp stuff, preparing to go back home. Then, we had our last breakfast around 7. Not forgetting the last activity, we clean up the campsite. Then, I realized that we didn't take much photos around campsite. What a waste. Maybe we were too tired after the activities. We went back Jerantut around 10. Then we took the train back to JB then Singapore.

Photos will be uploaded later, after I'm no longer busy...^^

    OMG...
now then realize that i never publish it ....

    =_=

    See you, now packing packing...^^
